We went to visist my family Christmas night. It was so fun. Dawson, had to open every present, and played in the wrapping paper like crazy. My nephew James didn't quite know what to do with his presents, so Dawsy had to help teach him how to play with it all. It was pretty cute to watch.

Because I had to work Christmas eve, we spent Christmas eve night and Christmas morning at Colby's house. WE had a lot of fun together opening presents.

Of course with winter, comes snow and snowmobiles. Colby fixed up his old Tigre in hopes that I would drive it, but I only like to ride, not drive, so his hopes on that one didn't turn out. But he is glad to have it running none the less.

Grandma and the kids warming their toes

Colby really loves this big cat

We went Christmas tree hunting and it was so FUN!

Colby's cat had kittens

We celebrated Halloween with punkins, (mine is the small one, colby's is the big one)

And my parents came to visit with my sister in law Heidi and her cute kids Dawson and Brittlyn. They are so cute and so fun. Dawson had to ride in Colby's big truck to get dinner, then he sang and sang his favorite country song. While the fam went to my sisters concert, Colby and I played with the kids at a park.

We celebrated my birthday

Last fall, we also got to go visit my family during harvesdt before the Park closed. It is always fun to see the corn chopper at work, and see how our feilds change so suddenly after watching them grow all summer.
For those with a tender heart or weak stomach : CAUTION This is Colby teaching us how to skin the chicken

We didn't get any elk or anything huge like that on this trip, but Colby did get a chicken

These Leaves were so pretty. I loved the color and the texture, and how the spots on them made them look.

We found the BIGGEST tree EVER. I just can't beleive how BIG it was. I thought it was the coolest thing.

So I want everyone to know that Mel and I go hunting with our husbands. It isn't always the easiest thing, but we have fun together. While hunting isn't really our thing, spending time with our husbands is, and during hunting season, if we want to see our husbands, we must join them in the mountains or become widows to the season. (I know March isn't really hunting season, but I am a little behind on my postings...)

Well, I don't have time to be blogging, but I don't want to do homework, and blogging is fun, so....blog WINS!!! I decided to change my background to something more springy, and I found one that I liked, but somehow the cute sidebars aren't popping up and an old background is showing up. I am pretty illiterate when it comes to blogging and doing cute things, and so I don't know how to fix this problem (hopefully it will work its self out).....
