The grass in this image creates a subtle texture to the photo. Even though the grass is not the center or even the most important part in the image, it frames the bike and the lampost. The white fence behind adds contrast to the image and lets the lamppost stand out.

These two pictures both have a lamp post in them. I really think the lamp posts are very charateristic, and create a nice image. This image has a broken lamp post in it. I like it though because it tells a little story. In this image the sun has just come up and is reflecting in the windows. The lamp post is darkened and is a little tilted to one side and looks as if it has gone to sleep, after staying awake all night, lighting up the darkness.

These black and white images are for my class project. This one with the bike tires is really neat. I walked out of my apartment and saw all of these bikes lined up. I really liked the tires with the spokes. I liked this image because the one side of the picture is not very full, but then all the other bikes build on each other. I like the texture that this image has in black and white.

These two photos are of the same image. However, with the different settings on my camera I was able to freeze the water in motion comming out of the rain gutter. The other image shows the free flow of motion that was taking place.

This picture was taken at the Spirit Week Rally/ Relay Race. Instead of holding the camera still while the runners ran by, I followed them with my camera. This is a cool effect, becasue the background is blurred, while, for the most part, the runners appear fairly clear.

THis picture was also taken at the Spirit Week Rally/ Relay Race here at BYU-Idaho. This picture is really cool, becasue the runner is all blurred, except for his foot.
